Week 8 Reflection

What: We did our assembly item. It was about Cinderella. We also went to the gym. We played games. We played sharks and life savers. We did art. We finished collaging our trees. We did some maths. We did a basic facts test.

So What: I learnt to use clay and to make things. I learnt its important to remember my lines for a play.

Now What: My goal is to be a king. I want to play rugby.

Week 7 Reflection

What: We had a mystery reader. It was Mrs McIntyre. She read a book about a smelly dog. We did buddy art. We helped them colour in their rugby player. We did some fun time this week. We did some writing, we did some free writing. We went to the gym.

So What: I learnt to jump and do a motorbike landing. I learnt to make some things with clay.

Now What: My goal is to get better at writing. I want to do more inquiry about the rugby world cup.

Week 6 Reflection

What: This week we went to Rugby road show. We learnt alot about the history of rugby in New Zealand. We made up a song supporting our favourite rugby team which was fun. We went to the Art Gallery and saw some collage rugby players made by an artist from Christchurch. We then made up some rugby players ourselves. On Thursday we had cross country. I came 4th in the 11 year olds.My house Kowhai came 1st.

So what: I learnt alot about the World Cup and who has won it and where it has been held. I learnt how to make rugby players out of cardboard.

Now what:  I want to get all my work completed on time.I would like to be king of the den.

Week 5 Reflection

What: We went for a trip to visit the Mayor. We had morning tea there. We went on the bus. We did some more Buddy Art. We got an All Blacks flag to hang outside our classroom. We did some m ore handwriting, writing, maths and reading.

So What: I learnt how to make a quiz on My Studiyo and add pictures.

Now What: I want to be a king on the success-o-meter, so I can be on the couch. I want to play soccer.
